Nutrition Fundraising Update Fall 2022
Heeman’s Garden Centre has made a generous donation of $4,000 ……………
The May Court Club of London is very pleased to report that Heeman’s Garden Centre has made a generous donation of $4,000. This photo shows Rita Heeman presenting their donation cheque to Ilene Bamford. For 20 years, Heeman’s has continually provided support to the Club and are very supportive of the work the Club does in the area of school nutrition. Currently, the Club is providing funding to 63 London Public Schools for nutritious food/snacks to feed children who come to school hungry. In addition. Heeman’s also hosts “The May Court Bake Table” at their garden centre each Spring – This year $1,300 was raised. Our Sincere Thanks to Heeman’s Garden Centre!
The Club would also like to report that The Rotary Club of London Hyde Park has made a generous donation of $1,000 that will be used towards supporting nutrition at Wilfred Jury Public School.
In addition, The Club would like to acknowledge the New St. James Presbyterian Church for their kind donation of $800. The Club’s work in the area of nutrition is of extreme importance in this difficult time for so many!
